When moving to Ohio I really didn't think the weather would be all that different from Minnesota, with the exception of warmer temperatures. Turns out I underestimated the ability for a great lake to the northwest to keep Ohio under a near constant cloud all winter!
We've had very little sunshine this season. Northwest winds pick up that lake moisture and keep the clouds rolling through. I really appreciate those strong highs that bring Minnesota and the Upper Midwest cold but sunny days through the winter.
Even though those highs bring
cold FRIGID arctic air with highs not even reaching 0 degrees, it helps to prevent the seasonal affective disorder I can feel taking effect on me here!
Don't all the bright lights at the tv studio help, a little???
